Ministries at St. Mark's

× At St. Mark’s, we have many opportunities to serve. Listed here is a highlighted ministry that currently is in need of additional volunteers.

This page is under development; in the meantime please reach out to the office or Pastor Carrie if you have any questions about serving in one of the many ministries that St. Mark's members actively support.

We hope you will join us.

Christian Crossing Thrift Shop

Many members of St. Mark's volunteer at the nearby Christian Crossing Thrift Shop. The primary mission of the shop is "To improve the quality of life for those in the Garrett County community who are of limited means and for those in crisis situation." The thrift shop accepts donations of clothing, furniture, appliances, household items, books, and toys which are then sold at nominal affordable prices. Furniture, appliances, clothing and household items are given (free) to those in critical need as referred by social service agencies.

Volunteers are needed

Anyone willing to volunteer services for any aspect of the Christian Crossing operation is invited to come to the Shop during open hours or call 301-334-6339.
